why consider pre-filtration?

Although a pre-filter is not mandatory (and people do still experience life-changing results with Kangen machines without ever touching a pre-filter), many of us who drink Kangen Water do utilize a pre-filter and recommend it to our Kangen clients who also care about drinking the absolute highest grade water possible, like we do! The reason pre-filtration can be a great addition to your water transformation is because it will make sure your tap water is completely free from any and every chemical before it goes through the ionization process in the Kangen machine. Just a reminder that filtration and ionization are completely different, but are definitely compliments: filtration is the first step in purifying your water, getting rid of all harmful contaminants, and ionization is what makes it LIVING water, giving the water all of the living properties we truly benefit from.

PS: the filter that comes in the Kangen machine DOES filter out many of the major toxic chemicals (chlorine, sediments, dirt, metals, and "particles- class 3" which are dusts, fibers, fumes, & microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, fungi, spores, & mists), all found in tap water in the USA today. Having a pre-filter is simply an extra preventative measure that will just ensure 99.9% of all other potential chemicals found in your water are removed or reduced before it goes through your machine, therefore should be considered.
